Insane Transformation of a $950 Dirt Bike!
This video is 4 months of work on my YZ250 2 stroke condensed into a 15-minute montage and timelapse. When I originally purchased this bike it was a pretty beat up motocross bike with transmission issues, so I was able to get a pretty good deal. I immediately saw great potential in this bike and decided I wanted to transform it into an enduro and desert beast. I hope you enjoy the process!

    Hey bro! Did all your test & actually failed the stator ( 3 prong) I got here because although I do have spark it seems weak.. & only 1 cylinder is firing.. I swapped out a stator for a good one and put it all back together… finished video and passed all the test witb flying colors! What the hell do I do next ?? I have spark it just will not run on 2 cylinders.

    Hey man when positive not connected to battery I get a light test positive on both part of solenoid, when I connect positive cable to battery the light stops for the positive side of solenoid, left side of solenoid still lights, fuses are good

    Thanks for the video. do you have any idea what would cause the gauge to have nothing working on it? the ski will start and run fine, but none of the lights on the multi function gauge work or come on at all. They dont have any readings.

    Hey man I have a 2001 KDX220R, it runs great but it won't idle at all. When I first start it (choke on or off) it'll idle good for about a minute then won't idle at all. Fully warmed up, it doesn't wanna idle at all. If I tighten the idle all the way, it'll idle for a second or two then die. I just replaced the filter and spark plug but it still doesn't want to. The last filter was missing the middle of it because it was so old and I cleaned the carb twice, I'm gonna clean it again now that it has the new filter and clean the entire bike, but I'm so confused on what to do about the idle. I wanna sell the bike or add power and make it a mx bike but I can't do that with it not idling at all. Please help 🙏

    You should get out of the habit of taking apart a dirty anything. Your pan of soapy water actually has to have some soap in it.! What do you think your in the Amazon Jungle or something? And talking about overlooking something, how about putting some chamfer on that blank of a piston ! Should have an 1/8 "round edge on the lower exh. skirt and a little less on the intake and all edges should be smoothed .Just like the cylinder. Ultimate build my foot. not yet at least ! '
